We had another successful Board Meeting last Wednesday 7 March.

Next board meeting is Wednesday 4 April At Mid West Funerals.

 

I attended that meeting but I will let others fill you in on the details of that one.

 

District Conference is only 25 days from now. Hands up if you have registered??

 

Sadly we are losing one of our treasured ones namely Mr Bill van Ast. His last meeting is on Monday 26 March which is only 2 weeks from tonight. We are having a “surprise” party to farewell Him. I will let Jennifer fill you in on the details for that one but I just wanted to say that I expect each and everyone of you to have a short story about Bill ready to tell us on the night. Don’t let the truth get in the way of a good story but do remember we have strong defamation laws here in Australia.

Community Service: Mick Powell, organised a stall at the Railway Markets to promote Rotary, on Sunday and there was lots of interaction and there will be another one on the 15 April.

 

Youth Service: Tom Thuijs, Reminder about RWADE Thursday 15 March to help with lunch. Wild West last weekend in August and our Rotary club may have a team, it can be 5 people. The Interract club is going to have a sister club with Canada.

 

Membership: Greg Sivwright, 19 March Membership meeting. Special guests Kel and Julie Turner.

 

Club Service: Jen Edwards, needs help to set up for the dinner 7 April between 12noon and 5pm.

 

Public Relations: Vaughan Masters, need more helpers for RWADE Thursday 15 March. Will promote signs at 440 Roadhouse.

 

Susan Bell, Can anyone help with registrations for the Conference

 

Mark Worthington, needs helpers for the Bar for the conference. Need helpers to put the fence up for the bar. Lots happening from the 440 meeting. Dead Reds coming up soon.
