Rotary Club of Hall meeting & WA Tartan.
While in Canberra recently I attended the meeting of my previous Rotary Club which is the Rotary Club of Hall. Their guest speaker was Betty Johnston who is a tartan designer. She was very interesting and kindly gave me this small piece of tartan which is the Western Australian tartan.
Science & Engineering Challenge.
Volunteers are urgently needed for this. I have done it before and it is great fun. I loved working with the children and watching them nut through how best to meet the challenge put to them. Sadly I have to work on those two days so I cannot be involved but please, by a show of hands, can I see who can?
Probus.
Lunch with Chris & Ian & the meeting is Wednesday 6 June, they asked for support from us. I suggested we might buy the pastries for morning tea. I will speak to the board on 30 May.
